The community altar space at Sunday Love’s season closing party, ‘En El Cementerio’ was designed and curated with activations by LaMae. Inspired by the Dia De Los Muertos ofrenda (altar), the area included interactive mandala, cacao ceremony, legacy & loss rituals, sound healing and headphone meditations.

The nighttime community altar offered guests a serene space to honor ancestors and loved ones through interactive offerings, fostering heartfelt connections and providing an intimate retreat from the party.

LaMae brought together members from SpiritWild to design an immersive high tea wellness party, in theme with Sunday Lov'e’s losing party, ‘Legends & Myths.’ The experience included a menu of tea, cacao, pastries, fruit, guided discussion, movement meditation with live violin, and a beautiful indigenous ceremonial performance that invited guests to transition to the dancefloor and start the party.

Sunday Love’s Wellness Director, LaMae, collaborated with J Miles to present the opening wellness session, Myths of the Asanas, for the outdoor event at WEG TV Studios.

LaMae has been collaborating with music artist, Imka, who transforms the plant bio-data into musical compositions for live performances in which LaMae will design a space for and offer guided meditation. The experience is a sound bath to decompress the body, mind, and soul using digital instruments to create relaxing sounds and fill you with wonderment.

Guests were invited to step away from the party and immerse themselves in a serene green space, meditating to Imka's live sound bath delivered through headphones for a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

An altar experience designed by LaMae for Sunday Lover’s Ball - Legends & Myths

LaMae enhances music and space by curating art installations and performers. She thoughtfully casts talent, designs costumes, ensures safety of the stage, and collaborates with artists to create immersive installations and interactive activations.

LaMae invited musical performers, a tea/coffee accompanied virtuality reality experience, and visual projection artists to activate a silent disco ambient space within the immersive Halloween Forest built inside BERHTA. Her Ambient Forest concept offered full-day programming and was enthusiastically received by participating artists, providing a platform for emerging creatives to share their work in a unique, multisensory environment.

Part performance, part guided meditation, this concept and cast by LaMae presented a performance that invited guests to move and set intentions for the dancefloor. Feturing Karine Plantadit at the warehouse event Flash-OFF: Enter The Third Eye with Bedouin.

LaMae books curates a lineup of special guests artists and talent that represent and celebrate diversity and community

LaMae has been the wellness director for the Wellness Session since its inception in 2019. Programming and curating a complimentary wellness experience for the community.

LaMae has been creative director of Halloween decorations for Flash Club’s annual FLESH, sometimes inviting a main artist to build and empowering community creative volunteers.

This Ambient Lounge pop-up is a collaboration to bring a unique immersive ambient experience.

LaMae enlisted artist Adrianna Morgan and provided creative direction for an evolving art installation designed to transform with the next series of events. She also curated vendors and thoughtfully designed the space to enhance the overall experience.

LaMae specializes in designing experiential shopping. Love Bazaar is an indoor marketplace that partners with D.C.’s local creatives and vendors to bring quality products and goods.

LaMae names and conceptualizes the decor theme for 3 floors at Flash club, including a narrative to promote the music experience presented for her favorite holiday season.

3STARDC’s culinary driven experiences presented an after-party to their Halloween dinner party. The AFTER(LIFE)PARTY was a virtual journey on zoom through music, wellness practices, visuals, performances and rituals in honor of Day of The Dead.

LaMae collaborated with Joseph Quartana to bring his vision to life by casting actors and directing and coaching movement to create dark and enchanting visuals inspired by poisonous flora, the Poppy Soma.

LaMae was approached by The Roots manager Richard Nichols to present Zoe Kravitz and the band Elevator Fight

Presented at Le Poisson Rouge, it was a star studded event that celebrated and showcased female artists.

A unique collaboration for this Taste Gallery dinner experience presented talisman artists, L’Enchanteur and Chef/Author Jenn de la Vega for an experienced splashed with the theme: Green.

The adventure begins upon receiving the special birthday invitation. Guests find themselves at Underdog Alley where immersive performances with the hosts, food, music, and games allow them to reveal their alter egos.

Riddles and a scavenger hunt invite guests to journey to a high end dinner at the Grass-Fed Supper Club.

Latte macaroons were some of the edible takeaways for guests attending the pop-up dinner experience.

This virtual party on zoom was the afterparty for 3STARDC Halloween dinner event. Featured here is burlesque performer Lucky Rapscallion.

During the pandemic, LaMae curated a virtual gathering that blended artistry and wellness, offering a creative space for ritual and celebration during the first full moon of 2021. Collaborating with artists and healers, she designed an inspiring experience that connected participants through intention and magic. Later, she was invited to produce for World Water Day, thoughtfully including artists of First Nations descent in her curation.
